This presentation will discuss the history of composites at Boeing from the B2 to the 777 empennage and floor beams to the big step of the 787. Current composite technologies and what the future might look like for composites at Boeing will also be addressed. The composite empennages will feature prominently as the co-cured box represents a significant step forward for commercial aircraft composites.
